Ironbark Tavern is run by a Chiltern family. They are a local restaurant and pub. Their energy consumption profile fits solar energy during lunchtime hours and also offsets their usage for refrigeration. They were looking at ways of reducing their energy bills through clean solar energy.
We offered a Solar Power Purchase Agreement (Solar PPA) to lower their energy costs. We designed a 22kW system. The energy generated by this system is now sold to them at a rate 48% below their retailer peak rate.
