Tuki Trout Farm is a family business located in Smeaton, Victoria. They are a getaway destination, a trout fishing venue and a sheep farm. Their particular energy consumption profile fits solar energy production hours thanks to their diverse business proposition.

They were looking at ways to reduce their energy bills through clean solar energy despite their restriction of having a 2 phase electricity connection and a diesel generator on site.

We offered a Solar Power Purchase Agreement (Solar PPA) built with these particular circumstances in mind. We designed a 13.3kW system. The energy generated by this system is now sold to them at a rate 30% below their retailer peak rate.
